About Hope

I called this page “About hope” because I do hope that we are still able to make a swift change in the way we treat nature and therefore also wildlife as soon as possible. Generally I am a positive person, but if I’m honest when thinking about the state of nature and the world in only a few years time from now, I get really worried. Too many decisions are made in favour of an irreversible destruction of species, plants and whole areas. A lot of these decisions have a very complicated background involving all kinds of social influences and fields, and it is therefore not always easy to get to the root of the problem to solve it. However, there are and also have been decisions deliberately made by individuals or small groups purely based on greed, selfishness, conceit and unfortunately also out of ignorance. This is where I personally believe we have the biggest chances and possibilities to make a change - before it gets too complicated again.

For that reason, I want to support organizations and also individuals who are actually involved in the fight against more destruction and for more hope for nature and wildlife. Please have a look at some of these organizations and spread their mission for more visibility. I have been or still am involved with every single one of them and next to a monetary or time investment I would like to keep helping out by mentioning their name on this page. It might even inspire you to get involved too.
